- May be associated with Von Hippel-Lindau disease.[1]

- Polygonal cells with clear cytoplasm.
DDx:
- Clear cell renal cell carcinoma.
- Other kidney lesions with clear cells.

- S100 +ve (diffuse).
- Alpha-inhibin +ve.
- NSE +ve.
- Vimentin +ve.
- PAX-8 +ve.
- EMA -ve.
- AE1/AE3 focal +ve.
- CA9 -ve.
- CD10 -ve
- CD117 -ve
- Melan A -ve.
- CK7 -ve.
