Carcinoembryonic antigen, abbreviated CEA, is set of glycoproteins present during fetal development and associated with the gastrointestinal tract. In pathology, they are associated with gastrointestinal tract tumours; however, may be seen other tumours.

• C-cell hyperplasia.
• Medullary thyroid carcinoma.
